Gouache on board 31” x 15 1/2” After a trip to Mexico, I decided to use photographic images in my work. I manipulated the images so they wouldn’t be easily recognizable then mixed them with other Mexican design motifs.

Rose Window Gouache on Board 8” x 8” This is an early geometric. At the time, it was probably my most successful.The patterns are simple but the color is complex, giving the painting the look of being lit from behind.
